I’m happy to share that I’ll be playing drums in a new project called Ponti di Mare, created by the great Dado Moroni and produced by Insulae Lab.
This project brings together musicians from different parts of the world — including Francesca Corrias, Yanara Reyes MacDonald, and Paolo Orlandi — to explore musical connections between the Mediterranean, the Caribbean, and beyond. It’s a mix of jazz and cultural roots, with space for improvisation and shared influences.
What makes this especially meaningful for me is that we’ll be bringing the music to Sardinia, where I’m originally from. Being back there with this group and this music is something I’m really looking forward to.
